Christmas

This is Noah hugging Mylee for giving him a remote controlled something or other. It was so cute and sincere!

Paxton - he's not sure what all the fuss is about.

Ally and Natalee, my favorite gals!

And the guys who I'm sure were all playing Tetris on their phones and were completely content.

The next day, it was off for sledding at the golf course.

And the Nativity at the Bingham Family Christmas Party - that's Mylee twirling and flying fast like an angel!

Noah as a karate shepherd.

Natalee as an angel.

And Paxton wearing the cool crown Andy made for him! He was a wiseman.

Christmas was all about being with family and it was a lot of fun!

Winter Solstice 2009

Did you know that today is the Winter Solstice, marking the shortest day in the year for the Northern Hemisphere? It marked the day with the fewest hours of sunlight this year. That means we are on the downhill! The seasonal significance of the Winter Solstice is in the reversal of the gradual lengthening of nights and shortening of days. Hooray!

The Grand Lodge at Brian Head

Remember this? Well, this is what came of it - this is the Grand Lodge at Brian Head.

And he's not even done yet. Andy has been keeping very busy and we are so grateful for that. His designs are getting rave reviews and they keep asking for more. I am so proud of him.

And...we're the same age again!

Each year, I have to wait exactly 1 month and 8 days for Andy to once again be the same age as me. He's worth the wait. Happy Birthday, Andy!

Andy is the most fun person to be married to and I will forever treasure our relationship. He is my best friend and keeps me on track. I am constantly amazed by his wisdom and spirit. I know that our future holds many adventures to experience together. I love you, Andy.

Thanksgiving in Arizona

Andy's brother Matt lives in Mesa, Arizona so the Funderburk crew met up there this year. It was really nice weather. We had our Thanksgiving Dinner poolside. The Funderburks eat ribs and steaks not turkey and yams, so it was a nice change - very delicious.

There was a lot of this going on - RELAXING.

On Saturday, we went to a car show - that was rained out. Of course it would rain in the desert on the one night that we are there after hauling Andy's hot rod 9 hours to Arizona!

But, it cleared and we heard about another cruise night so we hit that up.

We saw lots of cool cars there and this wild character.

Kevo, Matt, myself and Andy went to Lo Lo's Chicken & Waffles. Major yum.

Then we headed home. We got to Flagstaff and Andy and I decided we wanted a frosty. So, we sent Kevo in to Wendy's to get us one. Twenty minutes later we were still waiting outside. So, Andy went in to see what was taking so long and here is what he found:

That's right. A long line, a mess, and an empty dining room. The soda machines were flat and the manager was running around looking busy but doing nothing. It was quite the joke and we got a kick out of it!
