Happy to be home sweet home

Being away from my husband for 10 days was nearly torture for me, but I survived and am so tickled to be home. While I was away, I visited 6 universities and talked graduate school with many students. Definitely worthwhile. I also managed to squeeze in a little shopping and:

Fortunately my mom accompanied me on the long drive to Rexburg, Idaho. We had great conversation and ate at Maddox on our way there. (Yes, I dyed my hair).

The next day we met up with Brie and went out to dinner.

Holly, Ally, Mylee, Amber, Natalee, Noah, Mom, Brie and I all went and saw High School Musical 3. It was hilarious, but keeping Mylee focused was the challenge. After, we went to a boutique. This picture is my mom and Natalee after the movie - they have similar taste in shoes.

As much fun as all of this was, getting home to Andy was just what I needed. As soon as I got home, we threw on our Halloween costumes and went to a Halloween party. We were Wilma and Fred Flinstone.

Isn't that Fred cute?

Wow! I haven't been away from Cody for more than a night at a time. That would be seriously difficult! Cute costumes! I was Fred one year!

It's crazy how attached you get to your other half. Last summer Stephen and I were apart for two months (he moved to Colorado and we were still in Utah). While he was driving back to help us move he called me on his cell. He told me he was still 8 hours away AS HE WALKED IN OUR FRONT DOOR! Not nice! That was the closest I have ever been to literally passing out.
