Macy's First Birthday Party

You know how you dream about your wedding day and planning your wedding festivities? I know I did. And I loved every minute of planning my wedding celebration. I love to plan a party. So, when my first baby girl was approaching her first birthday, you better believe I was so excited. I have been plotting and planning for months! The big day was July 16th and it was tons of fun.

THE SMASH CAKE

It was a carrot cake (a little nutrition, right?) with cream cheese frosting and starburst "fondant" polka dots. Macy loved the polka dots. She knows where the good stuff is.

THE FOOD

The food was pretty Macy-friendly but we did have this some "sophisticated" appetizers for the adults.

THE MENU
•Chips & Shrimp Dip
•Prosciutto-Wrapped Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Bites
•J Dawgs
•Homemade Mac-n-Cheese
•Watermelon & Cantaloupe Skewers

Here's Mr. J Dawg himself grilling up the dogs.

J Dawg Fixings

The J Dawgs were so yummy, partly because we had the actual J Dawg buns from Provo Bakery brought in by my parents.

Cupcakes from 25 Main

Caramel Corn Pops Party Favors

ACTIVITIES
•Musical Polka Dots
•Frozen Balloons
•Donut-Eating Contest
•Bubble Gum blowing contest
•Parachute from Holly
•Yo Yo/Diabolo Show by Kevo
•Mustaches

PARACHUTE FUN

The parachute made Macy's hair stick out all stat-icky - it made it look like she actually had hair! ;)

HIGH ADVENTURE SWING

Natalee & Noah had quite the thrill rides on the swing!

OPENING PRESENTS
Macy made out like a bandit (she got three phones) - thanks everyone!

It was such a fun party.
