Macy Update

Macy is growing up so much.  She repeats everything we say.  These are some of her latest phrases:
"I love you so much, mom."
"I can't weave you." (I can't leave you.)
"Momma, no, don't!" with this desperate pleading.  She's putting high pitch and emotion into what she says!
"Momma, are you hot?"
"Momma, are you cold?"
"I need chocolate, mom, I need chocolate." I have taught her well. Halloween should be fun this year now that she knows what chocolate is!
One day she was looking at me, stroking my hair and saying "You're so beautiful mom.  Close your eyes". It was so cute!!!
Everyday when I get home from work lately she says "Mom, did you have fun at the doctor?"  I do go to the doctor a lot lately but this cracks me up!
She is always wondering what is going on and will say "Whutcha gunna do, mom?  Whutcha gunna do?"

She is putting families together - she'll rattle off the names of my sister and her husband and her kids.
She gets so mad when I do something for her - she wants to do it herself!
I think her imagination is really growing because she is making funny voices - deep and gruff or high pitched.  It's pretty cute.

She is so curious - she has to know what every little sound is.
She gets bored quick.

The big slide all by herself on a very hot day!

She is taking the cutest tumbling class called Tumble Tots with her two friends Phoebee and Nora.  I love it maybe more than she does.  :)

Getting in a little Dora fix before tumbling class

She always says "One, two, tree cheese" and then closes her eyes!

Just loving it!

BEAR LAKE PARADE OF HOMES

My sister's husband is a builder in Bear Lake and built this gorgeous home on the golf course.  They entered it in the Bear Lake Parade of Homes.  Andy did all of the metal work including some of his custom furniture being featured in the home.  And I got to help my mom and sister decorate the place.  SO MUCH FUN!

Natalee's Room complete with chandelier, bunked bed and a balcony overlooking the great room.

Nash's Room
Nash's bed where Macy crashed for 2 hours.  People came through the home and there she was sleeping!

Living Room - gorgeous rock fireplace surround that just keeps going up, up, up.

And last but not least, Andy's custom railing - I LOVE how it turned out.
My camera was not cooperating so these are iPhone photos.

NURSERY UPDATE

With a new baby girl on the way, we needed to make some modifications to the nursery.  We converted Macy's crib to a toddler bed, took out the overstuffed chair and replaced it with a smaller rocker.  That gave us some room for added storage.  Since this room is going to have to accommodate all the things two little girls will need, we needed to be smarter with our space.  We got the Expedit from Ikea in high gloss gray and since most everything else in the room is white, this proved to be a good choice.  Down the road in a bigger house with a playroom, I see this item on it's side so kiddos can reach all of the bins.  The kitchen stayed since Macy plays with it daily.  Andy is going to build (soon hopefully) a mini wrought iron crib that will sit at the foot of our bed and that is where baby girl #2 will sleep for the next few months.

This is storing swimsuits, burp cloths, dress ups, books, and toys with some room to grow.
