MILLIE IS 6 MONTHS OLD

I took some 6 month pictures of Millie. I was pretty proud of how they turned out.

When I was taking these pictures of Millie, Macy kept jumping in front of the camera wanting me to take pictures of her. She is used to having the whole spotlight to herself. Note the spaghetti all over her face!

I can't believe Millie is 6 months old. It is going by so fast; even faster than when Macy was a baby. I feel so completely lucky to be the mom to sweet Macy and Millie. I just can't get enough of them. Millie is such a good baby, a good sleeper, and has a good temperament.

She says "Dadadadada".

She rocks/bounces excitedly.

She eats rice cereal and applesauce like a champ.

She is sweet, chill and happy.

She loves dolly faces and mirrors.

She rolls and moves all around.
Overnight she is starting to sit up so good!

She does the funniest inchworm move on her back and scoots all over.

Macy loves her. I melt when they connect and play and make each other happy and smile.

THE WIZARD OF OZ

We got to attend Playmaker's "The Wizard of Oz". Macy loved it. Ever since then she has been saying things like "I'm a mean witch" and "I'll get you my pretty". Heehee!

EASTER 2013

We colored eggs and every single one that Macy colored she drew an "M" for Macy.

For Easter, Macy got an Easter dress from Gigi, Twizzlers, a jump rope, a yo yo, a princess sippee and a little purse. Millie got an Easter dress from Gigi, a swimsuit, a little puppy dog snack container and clothes.

RAMBLINGS AND UPDATES

MARCH 10, 2013
Macy is obsessed with the concept of getting married (oh no, at the age of 2!?). She says "Can we get married?" and "Mom, are you married to dad? In the temple?" She asked me the other day if I was married in the Temple DI.

It is such a dance with Macy lately to figure out when she wants my help and when she doesn't. She gets so mad if I help her but then if I don't, she starts throwing a fit for me to help her! And sometimes when I'm helping her she says "You're such a big girl, mom." Ha!

The other day she was watching Dora and all of a sudden she turned to me and said "I want to go to school." Must have been a Dora episode about school. Cracked me up!

Every day when we say good bye to Aunt Kim as soon as we shut the door, I always say "Macy, what do you want for lunch?" Lately, if I ever forget to say that she turns to me and says "Mom, what do I want for lunch?"

MARCH 2, 2013

It has been a bad winter for sickness! We've managed okay but Millie did get a mild version of RSV. Scary. She didn't require any breathing treatments but just had a cold she couldn't kick!

FEBRUARY 13, 2013

Macy looked at a YAMAHA piano and pointed to the M and said "That says 'for Macy'!" Made me laugh. She always says "I am such a great sister" and "Momma, do you think she's happy?" referring to Millie.

Macy sings the you are my sunshine song and it melts my heart. If you ask Macy what she is doing, she says "just hangin' out with mom and Millie".

We went into a unisex bathroom and he looked straight at the urinal and said "I needa wash my hands"!! EEEK!

Macy says "that sounds be fun" or "that sounds be yummy!"

Millie rolls her tongue "rrrrrrr" when she's mad or needs attention!

Jumped up into my bed to snuggle with Macy and she said "Mom, are you my best friend?" Melted my heart!! Macy says "Mom, I can't bel eave you!" meaning she doesn't want me to leave. Sad but also hilarious at the same time because it sounds like she is saying she can't believe me. Macy often says "What do you think Millie is doing?" and "Millie is cute."
