This cute girl came over and did some pregnancy photos of me here at the casa. I love how they turned out.

Nursery Mobile & Details

We had a glitch with our original plan of paper cranes so we improvised and made this little bird mobile instead. I love how it turned out.


And I found this on Etsy and added it to the nursery as well.

Party Favors

Yet another bed rest project. I made these festive little toothpick flags that can top cupcakes, sandwiches or any other party food. To me these are such a Martha Stewart-esk item that I normally drool over but don't have the time to create. I can't wait to use them for the baby blessing meal!

Chocolate Factory

We watched this childhood favorite the other day and I was struck by this railing.

I love it.

I want it.

Never mind that it wouldn't pass building codes on an elevated space.



And the movie made me crave chocolate even more than my present obsession.

Festivity

I have been starting to go a little crazy lying here in bed. I tried to think of something I could work on and was inspired by a Better Homes & Gardens magazine clipping:

AND my cousin Maeve's creation:



So, I grabbed papers from my stash that coordinated and started cutting and gluing. I made this pennant banner. I love the end product. Anytime we have a party or a reason to celebrate, we have a fun decorative banner to pull out. I'm excited to use it. We just need our little girl to arrive so we can celebrate.
