Easter Weekend
We had such an eventful weekend. On Saturday we drove down to the Easter Car Show in Hurricane, Utah. We saw some pretty spiffy cars.

Yum.
And my love affair with Zara shoes continued. Then it was on to China Town where we stocked up at the Asian Market

Then we went to Roadrunner Cowboy Saloon to meet up with our friends Chris & Julie for dinner. This place was so great - the food was incredible! And, they have miniature bowling. The ball is smaller, the lane is shorter and the pins have ropes attached to them that pull them up and drop them down. It goes by really fast and is a riot. Andy wants to put one of these in our dream home someday. Probably because he is so dang good at it!

I PASSED
I got a "pass" on my integrated paper. I could have received a pass with revisions, but nope. The faculty members approved of my work! I am so excited and relieved to have this masters degree winding down.
Also, I am thinking about my late Grandpa Bingham this evening. Tomorrow is his birthday. He was such an inspiring man. I loved observing his many talents and trying to imitate them. I still remember his scent and his office that all the cousins loved to explore! His Christmas card creations were always a wonder. He was an incredible man. I miss having him around.

Better Late than Never
On Saturday we worked on a couple of projects. One of them was replacing a counter top in our kitchen with a stainless steel counter top. Andy made it - he is skilled. It turned out so beautiful. Thanks hon.
BEFORE

AFTER

And then... Andy and I had been asked to speak in sacrament meeting. At about 8:00 AM, we were practicing our talks and getting ready for our 9:00 AM sacrament meeting. We got a call from the bishop's wife asking us if we were coming to church because it was starting. AUH!!! We had failed to set our clocks forward. We rushed to get ready and made it when the sacrament was just starting. It actually translated into some funny jokes for our talks and didn't give me a chance to really get nervous. We spoke on Finding peace in troubled times.

The Weekend
We spent the weekend up in Salt Lake. Andy and I both had work up there and also we did a baby shower for Maeve. The shower was so much fun! There was a great turn out and all the Bingham ladies had a lovely time chatting! You could just feel the energy and love in the room. Thanks Holly for hosting!
We had the chance to go out with our engaged friends Ryfighter and Kate. We all share a love of ethnic foods (except Ryfighter isn't a fan of sushi- what??). So, they had scouted out a Vietnamese restaurant where we all enjoyed summer rolls and Pho. Pho is this huge bowl of steaming beef broth soup with beef in it - you choose what type of beef you want like meatballs or brisket. Then you customize your bowl by making it as hot, sweet, or spicy as you want. You mix in cilantro, bean sprouts, jalapeƱos, limes, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, chili sauce - whatever! It is really delicious and clears the nasal passage. We were all pretty much sweating and crying and our noses were running but we were loving it! We had such a great time with Ryfighter and Kate.

And we couldn't resist photographing Mylee at her best making a mess of some popcorn! She cracks us up. We had a great weekend but we are glad to be back home!
